Lutted support
Most connection problems come down to the network. Start here.
Getting connected
- Put your iPhone or iPad on the same network as the camera.
- On the camera, enable the Camera Access Protocol (CAP) in the network settings.
- Open Lutted — cameras on the network appear automatically. If yours doesn't, add it by IP address.
- If the camera has a CAP password, Lutted asks once and keeps it in your device's Keychain.
Common questions
The camera doesn't show up
Check that both devices are on the same network and subnet, and that CAP is enabled on the camera. Some Wi-Fi access points isolate clients from each other, which blocks discovery — entering the camera's IP address directly usually gets through.
It's asking for a password
That's the camera's own CAP password, set on the camera body. Lutted stores it in the device Keychain so a known camera reconnects without re-typing.
Do my grades affect the recording?
Lutted adjusts the camera's live look — an ASC CDL inside the camera's own processing. Whether that look is baked into recordings or carried as metadata depends on how the camera's recording and processing are configured.
Where are my stills and looks?
Stored on your device, inside the app. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — see the privacy policy.
